Monday Mornings Full of Donuts, Prayer, and Community
This is something I started doing at the beginning of the year. My school is on block schedule. This means we take one class for three and a half weeks, have four days off, then start a new class. On the first day of every block we get together to pray about what God is doing on this campus. We pray for all the ministries on campus, students, faculty and staff, and the surrounding community.
I got the idea to start this at the beginning of this year because I was trying to build up the Christian Community on campus and encourage other believers. I have not only had the opportunity to encourage others, but I have been encouraged.
I get a dozen donuts, bananas, and maybe some orange juice and meet everyone at the front of campus. This time is usually pretty short. We talk about life, laugh some, pray, the donuts we don't eat we show God's love by handing them out on campus. My favorite part about this whole thing is that I walk away feeling refreshed and ready to conquer another class.
This is why I love some Mondays! I encourage you to follow whatever God has placed on your heart to do on your campus or at your work place because he WILL use it.
P.S. I want to encourage, pray for, and befriend you, so follow me on Instagram @406_jourd or on Twitter @jourdynMack101 and feel free to DM me, I promise to get back to you. If you want more ideas on how you can reach your campus feel free to email me at jourdynpuppies@gmail.com, don't laugh I made that in fourth grade and stuck with it.
